We have been involved in the food wholesale business for over thirty years having owned and operated the Lanzarotta Cash and Carry chain. Our market is the convenience and restaurant trade in the Greater Toronto Area better known as the GTA. MVR Cash and Carry was born on October 4th, 2004 at 425 Norfinch Drive in North York, Ontario. Although young in age and heart, MVR is the culmination of many years of hard work both in the super market business with Commisson Food Markets and in the wholesale business with Lanzarotta Wholesale Grocers. We are essentially the one stop shop for the wise and time sensitive convenience or restaurant owner. Although it may seem odd to refer to a self-service depot, as a time and money saver it is true. With the current level of stock outs and delivery restrictions offered by distributors and wholesalers, is it really worth the aggravation. At MVR we refer to our three promises as great selection, quality products and friendly service. Now let us explain each.
